• MIS – Magli Intermodal Service – closes the 2023 fiscal year with a revenue of 63 million euros, up 28.5% from the 49 million recorded the previous year.
• This economic result is the outcome of the company’s growth and diversification trend, particularly in the steel and industrial waste sectors, with a total of 2.3 million tonnes handled.

With its 165 employees, including 106 drivers, 130 state-of-the-art tractors, 190 semi-trailers, over 680 special intermodal containers 100% made in Italy, direct presence in numerous terminals (Cremona, Brescia, Venice, Trieste, Ancona), and the availability of its own company/open trains, is a group characterized by a highly complex business model focused on technological innovation, sustainability, and circular economy.

More specifically, the total tonnes handled in 2023 refer to activities managed at the Marghera logistics base (Venice) for 800 tonnes with an additional 1.5 million tonnes of freight at the European level, marking a 25% increase from the previous year. Italy and Germany are the most served countries, with 39% and 35% of transports respectively, followed by the Netherlands (11%), Austria (10%), Switzerland (5%), and Sweden.

A total of 21,000 intermodal loading units (containers) were transported, representing a 26% increase from 2022. These are related to MIS intermodal corridors connecting Germany (58%), the Netherlands (29%), Switzerland (12%), and Sweden (1%), as well as over 360 trains operated from the terminals in Montirone (Brescia) and Cremona.
